There are exsactly 14 days left till the big move. I know that seems to be all I can talk about but I'm so excited. Today while at the library I picked up a bunch of decorating books to get some ideas on how I'd like to decorate our new apartment. We are both thinking we will be there for a few years so I want to make this place really hommie and ours. We even get quite a lot of flexablitlity in our new place aswell. We are aloud to paint, decorate anyway we'd like, put holes in the walls and all we have to do is make sure we have the walls back to a neutral before we move out. Nice eh! (Yes I am Canadian!) Usually my hubby said rental places are so flexable with you doing things but I think this is just another extra surprise from God. He knows how much I'm going to enjoy decorating and dreaming up ideas for this place. Anyways I have bigger news that I probably should of started with...MY HUBBY IS GETTING BAPTISED ON SUNDAY!!!!! I am so excited that he made this disition. I was baptised a few years ago in the church I was dedicated in and since the begining of "us" I'v been waiting patiently for my Hubby to say he's ready for that next step too. Its really neat seeing God work in his life. My hubby is so excited about the job God is placing him in...and he really feels that before he steps in to the "battleground" that he's been training for all these years that he needs to take this next step in his walk with his Savior. Well I wish you could all be there to celebrate with us....I will have to see if I get an pics. :)

Wow only 14 days! Must be exciting. Do you have everything packed or getting close??? Decorating is the fun part of moving. Getting to redesign where things will go and how to decorate each room.
ReplyDeleteThat's cool Alicia. Good news all around.
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that everything is going well for you guys. Have fun planning how you will decorate your apartment, it must be exciting!
ReplyDeleteVery cool about your husband getting baptized!! Tell him congratulations for me. I love that. Will he be giving his testimony during the baptizing? They do that at our night church and of course, I inevitably cry.
ReplyDeleteMoving is exciting eh? Especially the decorating part.
Have fun.
I guess you are busy packing! Only a few more days left! Can't wait for our visit in a few weeks!!!!
