Now I know that there has been a really long pause in my blogging again. I really wish it didn't turn out that way cause so much has happened and its hard to remember all the details of everything that I wanted to share. I also wanted to write some things in memory of my Grandma a few weekends ago since it has now been over a year since she passed. I do miss her lots and I think I'm still having trouble dealing with my Grandpa having a lady friend. Not that I don't want him to be happy or that I don't like her...I'v never met but she sounds great and I'm so glad my Grandpa is back to his normal self its just hard to get it through my brain that its not a replacing thing and just a moving on thing. I know for me personally if J was to go before me I would have a very hard time going to someone else but thats me. So how has everyone been doing out in the blogging world?? Alot must of happened since I was last here. I hope shasters trip to hawaii went well. One day my hubby and I will get to go on a carribean trip to somewhere tropical...I just know he'll surprise me with a trip on day...maybe our second anniversary. (hehe I wrote that with him standing behind me reading and laughing...talk about big hint hint for my next present eh!) Work so far has been great! A little tiring but the kids are so fun! The other day a teacher asked me what I was going to dress up as for our Halloween party that they are having next tuesday. I had no idea at first...but I'm thinking farmer! I'll get some old overalls a straw hat...pigtails the whole bit. Sounds good right?? If anyone has any other ideas that would be easy and fun for kids let me know! :) Oh but it can not be a witch or a black cat the other two teachers have claimed those. Not sure I'd want to be a witch anyway...not big on teaching young kids about that sort of thing if you know what I mean. Well I should be going I'm going to try and get to the library this week, atlease once a week so I can keep up better. I miss reading and commenting on what you are all up too.
Byes
Hey you. glad to know you are still alive. I guess I could have called also to see if you were..lol...nice hint for J on the trip. I would love to go somewhere and just clear my mind right now. So many decisions with where I'm working and whether I want to stay. I also got excepted at another place, same pay, just people that I know and love to work for. Its my J's parents. I'll email you later...g2g for now, have to go take Bailey outside and clean up his doggie stuff on the grass..ew eh...love ya lots..miss ya tons!! :)
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your doing ok. I have been checking here on occasion to see how you have been doing.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of the farmer, it reminds me of the picture on Shash's blog of your grandpa in a farmers outfit... Very cute. BTW his Lady Friend seems very nice I have had many oppertunities to speak with her.
If you are not sure whom this is its Colleen the neighbour whom used to live across the street from Shash.
hey love the farmer idea and right it doesn't teach the kids anything scary. you could be a baby to with quilt pins and a white sheet, for the diaper. put a soother on a necklace to top it off. I am getting used to the lady friend thing too.
ReplyDeleteI went as a farmer to our first church "harvest party" the year Dave and i were married, it's a good look.
ReplyDeleteDad's doing awesome and anything that is going to extend his life - right on! Dad let us know that they (Dad and Mom) talked about this before she died, she did not want him lonely at all. She made that very clear to him.
It's great to see him go from sleeping in and all day and complaining about his leg to getting up early - staying out all day - laughing - dressing up - and not complaining about his leg at all. To be honest... we haven't seen this side of him in a few years... It's good. My kids are excited about what's going on in his life, they can see the changes in him too. Yes, it was a little strange to see them hold hands at first but we are so happy for him. :-)
You should come up for Christmas and meet her and see the family! Dave turns 40 in January!!!! Big party planned...
I just received your letter - I'll fill it out and return it this week.
Hey, good to read from you again. I agree with everyone else, the farmer thing sounds good!! I also hope that one day hubby and I could go somewhere tropical...but he is not reading over my shoulders, so I will have to come up with another way to hint at it!!
