I'm back again...finally!
9.30.2006
I know I haven't been doing a good job at keeping you all updated on things and I'm really truly sorry! Its now even harder to find computer time with working all day and the apartment coffee house open only the hours you are working. Yup that means we are back to visiting the library whenever we get a chance to do emails etc. Yay for that! Well this past Friday was my 7th day of work and so far I'm loving it...but it is also very tiring chasing little people around all day. They definitely act there age...we have one little boy that we are constantly watching to make sure he doesn't hit, steal toys, bite or do anything else that would cause another child to get upset. Sometimes I feel like I am on his back too much with telling him no, stop, share, but you have to cause he has to learn. His roughness could be a result of having 3 older brothers who probably like to rough house and play fight...but who knows. I know I probably wont be able to share to much of what goes on in the classroom b/c of confidentiality issues but I will post some funny stories as they come without using real names etc. My day at work starts at 8:15 and I work till 5:15 which are perfect hours for my hubby to drop me off and pick me up (he works 8:30 to 5:oo). God really worked that out good for us both and we also are both off Saturday and Sundays so we get nights and weekends for eachother. Well there has been a lot of other things going on. My folks may be visiting next weekend (Canadian Thanksgiving) so I'm really excited to cook. I'm going to do a big Thanksgiving dinner Sunday afternoon or evening whenever the turkey desides to be done. lol We also went to Ikea last weekend...and we found everything we want for our house and it basically replaces everything that we have as well. We just need to do a lot of saving up and get little bits at a time but we'll get there. We both really like the look of the low beds and its a beautiful brown black (dark wood) color that still shows the grain. I also found my red douvet cover... I am having trouble finding a red one anywhere else so I may go with the Ikea one. Who knew it would be so difficult to find a nice rich red bed cover. Well I should be going love you guys! I will be back it just may not be as soon as I or you would like.

I love the red cover from IKEA but I went with a beige then added the red accents like pillows and throws. They're cheap too so you can change it up for the different seasons. Have I told you how much I LOVE Ikea???? ;-) Awesome news on the job too.
