Growing UP

The time has come.... We must start baby proofing our home.  Baby K turned 8 months last week and is on the move. Thankfully she has not yet started walking..(I am so not ready for that stage yet.) but her crawling is in full bloom and so is her ability to pull her self up to a standing position.  She has even surprised hubby and I by saying what sounds like the word "up!" while standing.

 

I will be very surprised if our sweet baby K isn't walking before her first birthday. She is a go, go, go baby, who doesn't sit still.  

Oh did I also mention she has started showing signs of understanding the word "No!"  It was quite crazy to see the first time I used it on her.  She literally stopped what she was doing turned her head and looked at me. 

Why is it no matter how many toys surround your child...they always end up being most attracted to the one thing they are not suppose to touch/play with.  Parenthood is reaching a new level for hubby and I.  Should be one exciting summer.

I love you my sweet baby K but do you have to grow up soo fast?!?
