Our New Years

It has come down to the end of our trip and I wanted to share a few photos and tell a few stories about what we have been up too. It has defenatly been one very relaxing, exciting trip home and I will never forget it. I am so glad that my mom let me hog her camera the last few days so that I could hide behind it lol. When we finally get our own camera my hubby is going to have to fight me for it in order to use it...I love taking pictures just like my Grandpa. This Picture below was taken by my mom it was on New Years eve...isn't my hubby so cute!! We went out shopping before the big 50s New Years bash we went to later onIt has come down to the end of our trip and I wanted to share a few photos and tell a few stories about what we have been up too. When we finally get that night. You should of seen my Grandpa rock and roll...I don't think I'v seen him get so excited and groove like I did last night. It was so neat to see him having fun and enjoying life. At some point I wished my Grandma could of been there to see it...I"m sure she would of enjoyed seeing him so happy too. It was nice getting to spend New Years eve with my parents, bro, his girlfriend and other family as well...I havn't been able to hang out with all of them at the same time in a while so I enjoyed myself. My hubby and I shared a strawberry milk shake..and a kiss at midnight but not before I got nudged by my soon to be grandma and was told to give my hubby a kiss...I think thats the first time anyone has had to tell me to give my hubby a kiss...I must of been really out of it and tired. lol











On New Years day we slepted in then had christmas morning with my parents and bro. We had a lot of fun opening up gifts and then we all sat and had waffels for breakfest. I made them my self. :) That one bad thing about me having controle of a camera is not only the amount of pics that end up taking but I like taking them when people are not expecting or posing for them. After all our christmas exciment we headed to my dad's parents for the evening...my hubby spent his time playing Crokinole with uncles and cousins and I played dominos with my mom and grandparents. We had two different games going till almost 8pm. The only let down was we did not get a chance to play pit!!

Well the biggest change that happened to me while on this trip was my hair. I have not found a hair dresser yet in america and so I have been waiting to come back to Canada every time I'v wanted to get my hair done. Now I told my hair dresser this and she informed me that I was going to be the one responsible for her getting a "big head" lol. She does such a wonderful job and I'v never been disapointed with her work so to me she can have a big head if she wants cause she is THAT GOOD!
Here are some pics of my new style. She told me that its like two styles in one...a bob but I have the longness of the underneath hairs. It kind of has a rock style too it where her words. I also got her to cut my bangs shorter which has been weird trying to deal with them since they no long sit behind my ears.





It is now time for me to do some major packing and laundry my hubby and I want to try and leave as early as possible tomorrow morning...we're thinking 6am but we'll see how things turn out.
