The NoteBook

4.26.2006

I finally saw it and it was good! If you havn't seen it I highly reccomand it, just make sure you have a box of klenex boxes near by they will be needed. This movie made me cry, and it made my hubby tear up too. shhhh! I think the hardest part of the movie to watch was when Noah as an older man got his wife Allie to remember him and there love storie and the next moment she freaks out b/c she had no idea who he was or why he kepted coming close to her. Seeing him cry as he watched the nurses hold her down broke my heart I could just imagine how he must of felt. I know if my hubby was to freak out that way b/c he did not remember me I would be so heart broken!!

The Notebook my hubby and I watched Tuesday night. Last night we tried to watch
Bourne Supremacy but I feel asleep. Great eh and the reason why we got it was b/c I had never seen it. Tonight we didn't get to watch any movies, my hubby had class till 9:30pm and I had womans bible study till 9:00ish. I really love going to bible study it gives me a chance to hang out with other women and I'm really learning alot about some things that God is trying to teach me personally. I so far have only one problem and that is every Wensday we start a new chapter with five devotianl- lessons that we do till the following Wensday and guess what every week I end up being behind by two lessons. I do not know why I am always behind. I seem to start off strong in the begining, but get more destracted as the week goes on. (Not Good!) I now know that even with all the free time in the world it can still be extremly tuff to make time for quite times and bible reading. I am doing a lot better then ever and God has been so good to my hubby and I. For example we have been in a tight finacial state, my hubby going to school full time, with only a part time job, and I not being able to work in the US yet makes for little income. Today was one of those days were the tightness of our finacial state seemed to be very overwhelming. We had a phone bill we needed to pay, electric bill and we were short and still needed grocheries. We had no idea what to do or if we should borrow money from my parents etc... so we prayed and in the car on the way home from our outting I mentioned to Jason and prayed in my heart at the same time about how it would be a great day for a check I was expecting from somewhere in Canada to come in cause we could defenatly use it. Well my God being a good God, and our good provider who has meet all our needs thus far provided abundantly. As I was making lunch I had high hopes and little prayers here and there for my mom to call saying that the check has come in. I felt at peace over our situation and right before we sat down for lunch my mom did call and my check did come in. We now have enough to pay our phone bill, electric bill and money left over. It was all God! No one else could of made things to of worked out exsactly how they did. It was too peaceful, perfect, right on time! Anyways I just wanted to share todays wonderful happenings, brag a little bit. Hope your all having a good night!

Alicia

  2. I loved the movie The Notebook too, what an incredible love story!

Always remember one of God's names is Jehovah-Jireh, "God who provides". Be faithful with what He gives you and He will be faithful in providing.
