As I patted little Em's bottom to help her fall back to sleep my thoughts wandered into the future. I saw my Kaylin and my little Em sharing a room, but instead of sleeping like the girls were put to bed to do, I hear silly little giggles and soft whispers being shared.
This thought makes me smile from the inside out!
This week has been a great week for watching the interaction between my two girls grow. Em's face lights up every time she see's Kaylin, sometimes she even has a little excited bounce and Kaylin has started initiating play with Em. "Come on Emily, follow me" "over hear Emily!" Kaylin will then grab her Tomas the train pull toy and start running with it. This excites Em and more often then not she will try and crawl after them.
Oh the joy Kaylin has when that happens!
If I was to be totally honest I think Kaylin purposely pulls Thomas out now whenever she want's Em's attention.
Oh the bond between these two that's growing now I hope lasts a life time.
I kinda feel like breaking out into a song now.....
