As of today my baby girl is 17 months old. WOW! That means only seven more months till we enter the "terrific two's" stage...am I ready for that?!?
K has quite the vocabulary of words now. She is able to say all of these clear enough that we know what she is saying;
- Momma
- Mommy
- Da
- Dada
- nana=banana
- tea{when ever she see's a mug she will point and say teeea. I've taught her well.}
- hot
- happy
- no {yes we are entering this vase.}
- ball
She doesn't know how to say the words yet but she will use signs to communicate;
- More
- Thank-You
- Please
- Blue's Clue's
- The song Row Row Row your boat
- The song Twinkle Twinkle little star
- {she makes these signs when she wants us to sing the song's to her.}
K also has a good memory and puts two and two together well;
- Whenever the phone rings she'll start yelling Da, Dada, Da I guess I talk to him a lot on the phone during the day.
- She has a book with a picture of a front door. She will knock on it and say Da, Dada. My hubby doesn't knock before he comes in the door after work but maybe she thinks he should.
- When I ask her if she is hungry or say the word snack she will run to the fridge and try opening the door.
- When asked what a monkey does K will scratch her belly and make an "ah, ah" sound.
Oh how I love my baby girl!
happy 17 months to your little sweat heart!! It's crazy how fast it goes huh! She is such a cutie pie!! I love how as they grow they still look the same but, their features get more defined and grown up looking. So neat!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous pic of her! She's quite the little model. ;P I love it when she is at our house and says, "Dada, dada!" whenever the phone rings. It's sooo cute!
