I don't think I've really got this whole blogging thing down to an art yet. I think I'm still playing it safe, and not really putting much out there like I kinda wish I would. Now I don't want this to turn in to a gossip blog, or a bragging blog...but I want it to be a place where my thoughts can be freely written, my dreams and visions clearly stated and my heart can be open before...well right now...God, myself, my hubby & my baby girl when she's old enough to read these posts. I want to write about my everyday adventures as a new mommy..{Baby K will be 1 in 16 days time is flying by to fast for me to keep up with it} ...but I also find myself being distracted by so many other things-such as last week. Shutter-fly had a special deal for me where I could get a free 20 page 8x8 hard cover photo book. I had two weeks to complete it and get it ordered. 80% of my free time was spent on making these beautiful pages...and guess what, It is still not completed :( and I am not sure if Shutter-fly will honor this deal this coming week even though the original special deal has expired.
I would love this to be a photography blog. Now I am no where near as good as half the other people out there, but I do love a good picture, and I love taking good pictures. I'd love to be able to share all the special not half bad photos I just happen to of taken with my little point and shoot.
Food I love food part of me still wants to head to culinary art school, part of me really wants to try out for that new show "Master Chef" with Gordan Ramsey to see how far I could get. I would love to share wonderful recipes I find here.
I have ideas and themes for this blog but I guess I just do not know what way to turn and feel my blog is still not saying Hi I'm Alicia.......... :S

What a welcoming blog you have! I love the color scheme (grey is my favorite color). Write about it all! Lets hear what you have to say, lets see what you have to photograph and lets taste what it is you love to eat! :0)

ReplyDeleteI say... just go with it all! Recipes, photos, stories! Mix it up and it will keep you from getting bored with one thing. (At least from my own personal experience!) :)

I blog for some of the same reasons...a journal that one day C will read (she sometimes does now) and see how through the years how much she was loved and was special to us.
