On another note, hubby and I are in the process of "perfecting" all the details of our baby girls first birthday party. These are the invitations that we sent out late last week.
Perfecto
8.18.2010
OK, I think I am done messing around with my blog {layout, pictures and all.} For the past two months or so I've been trying to perfect my blog into something...perfect.....perfect for me and I can honestly say I was just not happy with anything that I ended up with until now. Now I think I'm happy, satisfied, at peace...lol but that feeling could change rather quickly. I am the kind of person {I hate to admit this} who every couple of months or so gets restless and bored with how things are stored, decorated or arranged. Speaking of which I think it has been months since I re-arranged my kitchen cupboards...my hubby would be so proud of me. lol. It used to be a regular occurrence in this house for my hubby to be hit unexpectedly with the feeling of disconcert and "wait...where's the cereal...I swear it was right here yesterday!" I guess having a baby really changes your priorities or at least helps you to really exam your priorities on a daily bases....it's so much easier to perfect the look of our homes then it is to try and perfect or correct our thoughts and actions at least for me it is.

I figured a month before the big day was enough time for my high maintenance, perfectionist self to plan everything to exactly how .... i'd like it. When they say a one year olds birthday is all for the parents, they are right. I'm sure baby K will not remember this day, nor care if things are color coordinated, or decorated just so. Again it's mommy who wants the colors to coordinate, and the deco to be perfect.
Baby K this is going to be YOUR special day. What really matters is not the deco, nor what dress or pants or hat you wear. What really matters is that you know you are a very special baby girl, a gift from our heavenly father-you make your mommy and daddy soo proud and we are blessed blessed blessed to have such an awesome daughter. We LOVE you!
